Mangawhai junior Belinda May proudly shows her Northland Strokeplay Championship trophy. Her 2 rounds of 76 and 75 at Kaitaia (Ahipara) on the weeknd of 6 & 7 May took the title
in a great achievement for her and our club.
Mangawhai Junior Tarrin Rous recently played in the 2017 Trans-Tasman Cup at Barnwell Park in Sydney. Despite his two strong wins, the Kiwis couldn't quite snatch the Trophy, but a great effort from Tarrin as he continues along his US Kids Golf pathway.

as he progresses impressively through the US Kids programme.
Belinda May, our leading Junior girl, proudly wears her Mangawhai Golf Club shirt at the Lydia Ko Age Group Champs held at Gulf Harbour Country Club. Belinda and Tarrin Rous both took part in this prestigious event and did the club proud with their efforts. Both players play off single figure handicaps and are very positive role models for those joining our Junior programe.
